My goal is simple: to empower others through good food, stories, and connections

Born and raised in a Puerto Rican-Moroccan household in Brooklyn, I was exposed to the power of food at an early age. My mom likes to say I learned how to cook scrambled eggs at the age of 3, which gives a glimpse into my love of cooking, and how well my parents shared their love of cooking with their children.

Growing up in a vibrant and diverse community, I was exposed to different cultures and communities my entire childhood. Food was the gateway to learning more about the traditions that were so different, yet similar, to the one’s I took part in. Stories, connections, and memories shared over home-cooked meals exposed me to the world- while spotlighting what made me feel good, inside and out.

There is power in nourishing our bodies and I want to help others gain a sense of that power in the kitchen and at the table. I hope to share a glimpse into the meals that make me feel at home, safe, wherever I may be.
